Perhaps many gardeners, even those with great experience, have encountered the fact that unexpected losses sometimes occur after harvesting seedlings. It is especially disappointing to lose young plants of rare or expensive varieties.
Using gliocladin for harvesting seedlings: I recently managed to purchase such valuable seeds, but unfortunately, out of the five sown, only three germinated. And this time I decided to use gliocladine, which I had already used successfully several years ago. This organic product has proven effective in promoting rapid rooting and healthy growth of plants.
Gliocladin is available in powder and tablet form, which is especially useful during harvesting. When replanting any plant, such as tomatoes or peppers, I add a Glyocladin tablet to the pot, to avoid future problems with the seedlings. The main component of the drug is trichoderma fungus, a natural fungicide of biological origin.
Trichoderma is a beneficial microscopic fungus that effectively suppresses up to 60 types of pathogenic microorganisms that threaten plant health. The effect of the tablet continues even after the seedlings are planted in the greenhouse, as the beneficial microorganisms continue to protect the plant from harmful fungi.
My experience shows that gliocladin is an excellent remedy not only for seedlings, but also for house plants. Thanks to him, even improper care will not lead to the development of a black leg. Once, after accidental overwatering of seedlings, one of the plants began to darken the trunk. Without hesitation, I used a gliocladine tablet and within a week the problem disappeared.
Trichoderma, in addition to suppressing pathogens, secretes antibiotics such as viridin, glycoxin, satsukkalin and trichodermin. These substances not only destroy harmful microorganisms, but also help strengthen the immunity of plants.
